Young Adult Novels by Dave Casler...I've been told by publisher after publisher that there's no market for Young Adult novels. I think they're wrong! So I'm putting my novels on-line for you. Forget the publisher! Read to your heart's content--it's free! And, I'd like to hear from you, too. Please put "About Dan" in the subject line. You're reading About Dan. Be sure to check out About Phillip here. Dan is a normal kid who loves his soccer. Except everything goes wrong. Everything. |

About DanSuggestions for ReadingYou'll notice dozens of asterisks (*) to the left of every page in About Dan. Hover your mouse over any one of them. You'll see the corresponding chapter title pop up. You can use these asterisks to keep track of where you've read, because they'll turn color each time you've looked at a chapter. Yes, I know this is a temptation to skip around! But you can do that anytime with a printed novel, right? Are you one of those people who reads the last couple chapters first because you can't bear to read without knowing how it comes out? Or are you a "linear thinker" who wants something presented one event at a time? In case you're wondering, I had a good idea how the story would come out when I started writing it, though I didn't know all the details. So read it any way you want! I've made it easy to read it sequentially. There's a (next) token at the bottom of each chapter. And a (last) token in case you want to go back. I hope when you're done you'll take a moment to e-mail me and give me your thoughts.
